The Sun Hydraulics RQCBLAN (Material Number: RQCBLAN) is a kickdown relief cartridge designed to function similarly to a circuit breaker within hydraulic systems. This valve opens completely and stays open when the inlet port 1 pressure surpasses the set threshold, allowing unrestricted flow from port 1 to tank port 2. It remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 is greater than at port 2. To reset, flow through the valve must stop, and the pressure at port 2 must equal or exceed that of port 1. The main stage orifice features a protective 150-micron stainless steel screen. The RQCBLAN model is not suitable for load-holding applications and is intended for use on the actuator side of hydraulic systems, requiring flow cessation for reset; if used on the pump side, pump flow must be halted for reset. Back pressure on tank port 2 directly adds to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio.
