The Sun Hydraulics RSBCLQN (RSBCLQN) is a pilot-operated, balanced piston sequence valve designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the pressure at the inlet port 1 exceeds the valve setting. This valve controls the pressure at port 1 relative to the pressure at drain port 3, remaining insensitive to back pressure at port 2 up to the valve setting. It can regulate pressure in place of 2-port relief valves if there is pressure in the return line. The RSBCLQN model features interchangeable three-port sequence cartridges, which share the same flow path and cavity for a given frame size. As inlet pressure at port 1 rises above the valve setting relative to drain port 3, pilot flow increases. The main stage orifice is protected by a robust 150-micron stainless steel screen. This sequence valve has a minimum setting of 75 psi (5 bar) for all spring ranges, with maximum operating pressures reaching up to 5000 psi (350 bar). With a typical response time of just 10 milliseconds and maximum valve leakage at 110 SUS (24 cSt) rated at 2 in/min (30 cc/min), it is engineered for efficiency and precision.
