The Sun Hydraulics RSHCQEV (RSHCQEV) is a pilot-operated, balanced piston sequence valve designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the pressure at inlet port 1 surpasses the valve setting. The sequence valve maintains control over the pressure at port 1 relative to the pressure at drain port 3, remaining unaffected by back pressure at port 2 up to the valve setting. This makes it suitable for regulating pressure in lieu of two-port relief valves when there's return line pressure. Notably, all three-port sequence cartridges are interchangeable in terms of flow path and cavity size for a given frame size.
