The Sun Hydraulics RSJCKWN (RSJCKWN) is a pilot-operated, balanced piston sequence valve designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the pressure at inlet port 1 exceeds the valve setting. This valve controls the pressure at port 1 relative to the drain port 3 and remains unaffected by back pressure at port 2 up to the valve setting. It offers an alternative to 2-port relief valves for regulating pressure when there is return line pressure. The RSJCKWN features interchangeable three-port sequence cartridges, maintaining consistency in flow path and cavity size across similar frame sizes. As the inlet pressure increases relative to the drain, pilot flow also increases beyond the valve setting, with a main stage orifice shielded by a 150-micron stainless steel screen. The maximum allowable pressure at port 3 is directly additive to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio, not exceeding 5000 psi (350 bar). This model is not recommended for load-holding applications due to spool leakage.
