The Sun Hydraulics RVEAOVV (RVEAOVV) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. This normally closed valve begins to open and throttle flow to the tank port when the inlet pressure reaches the pre-set level, effectively regulating system pressure. It features a vent port that allows for remote control via other pilot or 2-way valves, enhancing its versatility in various applications. The valve is engineered for accuracy with a low-pressure rise versus flow curve, providing smooth and quiet operation with moderate response speed. This model is capable of handling maximum pressures of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and can accommodate cross-port relief circuits, although users should consider spool leakage in such configurations. The main stage orifice is protected by a durable 150-micron stainless steel screen, but it is not recommended for load-holding applications due to potential spool leakage.
