The Sun Hydraulics RVGAKYV (RVGAKYV) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. This normally closed valve opens to tank port 2 when the pressure at inlet port 1 reaches its set level, effectively throttling flow to maintain desired pressure levels. It features a vent port (port 3) that allows for remote control by other pilot or two-way valves, providing flexibility in various applications. The RVGAKYV is known for its accuracy, low-pressure rise versus flow characteristics, smooth operation, and moderate response speed. It is capable of handling maximum pressures at port 2 and is suitable for cross-port relief circuits; however, users should consider spool leakage in such applications. The main stage orifice of the valve is safeguarded by a 150-micron stainless steel screen.
