The Sun Hydraulics RVGELBN (RVGELBN) is a fast-acting, ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to function as a normally closed pressure regulating valve. Engineered for efficiency, this valve opens to tank port 2 when the pressure at inlet port 1 reaches the designated setting, effectively throttling flow to manage pressure. A notable feature is its vent port 3, which allows for remote control via other pilot or two-way valves. The valve is characterized by its low pressure rise versus flow and rapid response time of approximately 2 milliseconds. It can handle a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and has a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen.
