The Sun Hydraulics RVIAKAN (RVIAKAN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for precision pressure regulation. This normally closed valve begins to open when the inlet port pressure reaches its setpoint, allowing flow to the tank port and regulating pressure. It features a vent port that allows for remote control by other pilot or two-way valves. Known for its accuracy, low pressure rise versus flow, smooth operation, and moderate speed, this valve is suitable for cross-port relief circuits but not for load-holding applications due to potential spool leakage. The valve includes a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen and requires that the relief setting always exceed the pilot valve setting.
