The Sun Hydraulics RVIAKBN (RVIAKBN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. This valve remains normally closed and opens to tank port 2 when the inlet port 1 pressure reaches the preset level, allowing flow to be throttled for pressure control. It features a vent port 3 for remote control via other pilot or two-way valves. Known for its accuracy and smooth operation, this valve offers low pressure rise versus flow and moderate response speed. The RVIAKBN can handle maximum pressure at port 2, making it suitable for cross-port relief circuits, although spool leakage should be considered in such applications.
