The Sun Hydraulics RVIDCBN (RVIDCBN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge with an external drain, designed as a normally closed pressure regulating valve. It functions by opening to tank port 2 and throttling flow to regulate pressure when the inlet port 1 reaches the set valve pressure. This model includes a vent port 3 for remote control via other pilot or 2-way valves and a drain port 4 to ensure insensitivity to back pressure.
