The Sun Hydraulics RVIDLDN (RVIDLDN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge with an external drain, designed as a normally closed pressure regulating valve. It opens to tank port 2 when the inlet port 1 reaches the valve setting, throttling flow to manage pressure efficiently. The valve includes a vent port 3 for remote control via other pilot or 2-way valves and a drain port 4 that ensures insensitivity to back pressure. Known for its accuracy and low-pressure rise versus flow characteristics, this valve operates smoothly and quietly with moderate speed.
