The Sun Hydraulics RVISLWN (RVISLWN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced-poppet relief cartridge designed as a normally closed pressure regulating valve. It opens to the tank port when the inlet pressure reaches the set value, allowing flow regulation through throttling. It features a vent port that enables remote control by other pilot or two-way valves. Known for its accuracy and low-pressure rise versus flow, this valve operates smoothly and quietly with moderate speed. The internal modulating mechanism makes it resistant to cavitation issues like noise and manifold erosion. This valve is suitable for load-holding applications provided the vent port valving is zero leak and can be used in cross-port relief circuits. It can manage maximum pressure at port 2, and a remote pilot relief on the vent port will control the valve below its preset level. The design is relatively insensitive to varying oil temperatures and contamination, with a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen.
