The Sun Hydraulics SCCALAE (SCCALAE) is a direct-acting sequence valve with an integrated reverse flow check, designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the inlet port 1 pressure surpasses the valve setting. This valve incorporates an integral check valve allowing reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. The pressure at port 1 is controlled relative to the drain port 3, and it's crucial that port 3 is connected to maintain a pressure reference in the control chamber, as blocking it can lead to malfunction due to seal weepage.
