The Sun Hydraulics SCCBCWV (SCCBCWV) is an atmospherically referenced, direct-acting sequence valve with a reverse-flow check, designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the inlet port pressure exceeds the valve setting. This model features an integral check valve that facilitates reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. It is particularly suitable for load holding applications and should be employed in situations where a drain connection is not feasible. Notably, these valves may experience external leakage or moisture ingress into the spring chamber over time, with approximately one drop (0.07 cc) of fluid entering the vented spring chamber every 4000 cycles. The SCCBCWV incorporates Sun's floating style construction to minimize internal part binding due to excessive installation torque or machining variations.
