The Sun Hydraulics SCCBLDV (SCCBLDV) is an atmospherically referenced, direct-acting sequence valve with a reverse-flow check, designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the inlet pressure at port 1 exceeds the valve setting. It features an integral check valve that permits reverse flow from port 2 back to port 1. This sequence valve controls the pressure at port 1 relative to atmospheric pressure and is particularly suitable for load holding applications. Atmospherically referenced valves like this one should only be used in scenarios where it is not feasible to have a drain connection, as they may leak externally or allow moisture into the spring chamber over time. The valve incorporates Sun's floating style construction, minimizing internal part binding due to excessive installation torque or machining variations.
