The Sun Hydraulics SCEBKDN (SCEBKDN) is an atmospherically referenced, direct-acting sequence valve with a reverse-flow check. This valve is designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the pressure at inlet port 1 exceeds the set valve pressure. It features an integral check valve that allows for reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. The sequence valve's pressure setting controls the pressure at port 1 relative to atmospheric venting, making it suitable for load-holding applications where a drain connection is not feasible. However, users should be aware that atmospherically referenced valves may leak externally or allow moisture ingress over time, with approximately one drop (0.07 cc) of fluid entering the vented spring chamber every 4000 cycles.
