The Sun Hydraulics SCIALBV (Material Number: SCIALBV) is a direct-acting sequence valve with reverse flow check, designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the pressure at inlet port 1 exceeds the valve setting. This versatile valve features an integral check valve allowing reverse flow from port 2 back to port 1. The pressure setting controls the pressure at port 1 relative to the drain port 3, and all three-port sequence cartridges are interchangeable for ease of use. Despite being a zero pilot flow valve, it's crucial that port 3 is connected to maintain proper pressure reference; blocking this port can lead to malfunction due to reciprocating seal weepage.
