The Sun Hydraulics SDHTCCV (SDHTCCV) is a pilot-operated, anti-shock relief cartridge designed to limit maximum system pressure and control the rate of pressure rise. The valve opens and ramps closed at a constant speed, independent of settings and flows, making it relatively insensitive to varying oil temperatures and contamination. Its external drain design ensures insensitivity to pressure at port 2, while pressure at port 3 directly adds to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio, with a maximum allowable pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). This cartridge is suitable for cross-port relief circuits but not recommended for sequencing cylinders or load-holding applications.
