The Sun Hydraulics SQBBCWN (Material Number: SQBBCWN) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to create an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to port 2 once the pressure at the inlet port 1 exceeds the valve setting. This occurs relative to the drain port 3, and the valve remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 surpasses that at port 2. To reset, pressure at port 1 must fall below its setting, flow from port 1 to port 2 must cease, and pressure at port 2 should equal or exceed that at port 1. Not suitable for load holding applications, this valve's pressure at port 3 adds directly to its setting in a 1:1 ratio, with a maximum of 5000 psi (350 bar). It is intended for use on the actuator side of systems; if used on the pump side, pump flow must be halted for reset. The cartridge features Sun's floating style construction to minimize internal binding from excessive torque or machining variations. It fits Cavity T-163A and Series 0, with a capacity of up to 7.5 gpm (30 L/min), and operates up to a maximum pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). Typical response time is around 25 ms with minimal leakage. The valve can be adjusted using an internal hex screw with specific torque requirements for installation and locknut adjustments.
