The Sun Hydraulics SQBBCWV (SQBBCWV) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to open completely and remain open once the pressure at the inlet port 1 surpasses the valve setting, facilitating an unrestricted flow from port 1 to port 2. The valve's operation is contingent on the pressure at port 1 being greater than that at port 2, and it will reset only when the pressure at port 1 falls below its set threshold, flow ceases, and pressure at port 2 equals or exceeds that of port 1. This valve is not suitable for load-holding applications. It should be noted that any pressure at drain port 3 adds directly to the valve setting in a 1:1 ratio, with a maximum allowable pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). The SQBBCWV is intended for use on the actuator side of systems as flow must stop for reset; if utilized on the pump side, pump flow must be halted for resetting. All three-port sequence cartridges are interchangeable in terms of flow path and cavity compatibility within a given frame size. The valve incorporates Sun's floating style construction to reduce internal binding risks due to excessive installation torque or machining variations. It features a capacity of 7.5 gpm (30 L/min) and operates with a maximum pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). The typical response time is around 25 ms, with minimal leakage rates under specified conditions.
