The Sun Hydraulics SQFBCAV (Material Number: SQFBCAV) is a specialized kickdown sequence valve designed to open completely and maintain an open state once the pressure at inlet port 1 surpasses the preset valve setting. This creates an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to port 2, with the pressure setting at port 1 being relative to drain port 3. The valve remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 exceeds that at port 2. To reset, the pressure at port 1 must fall below the valve setting, flow from port 1 to port 2 must cease, and pressure at port 2 must be equal to or greater than that at port 1. This valve is functionally interchangeable with all three-port sequence cartridges of similar frame size, sharing the same flow path and cavity dimensions. It is not recommended for load-holding applications and features a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen. The maximum pressure at port 3 should not exceed 5000 psi (350 bar) and is directly additive to the valve setting in a 1:1 ratio.
