The Sun Hydraulics SQFBCEV (Material Number: SQFBCEV) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to manage hydraulic flow effectively by opening fully and maintaining an open state once the inlet pressure surpasses the valve's set threshold. This creates an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to port 2. The valve remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 exceeds that at port 2. To reset, the pressure at port 1 must fall below the set point, with no flow from port 1 to port 2, and pressure at both ports equalizing or reversing. Notably, all three-port sequence cartridges are interchangeable in terms of flow path and cavity size for a specific frame size. However, this valve is not suitable for load-holding applications due to its design characteristics. Key features include a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen and a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar).
