The Sun Hydraulics SQFBCNN (SQFBCNN) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to open completely and maintain an open state once the pressure at the inlet port 1 surpasses the valve setting, facilitating an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to port 2. This valve is intended for use on the actuator side of a hydraulic system, as flow must stop for the valve to reset. It should not be utilized in load-holding applications. The main stage orifice is protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen, and pressure at port 3 contributes directly to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio, with a maximum allowable pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). The design incorporates Sun's floating style construction to reduce internal part binding due to excessive installation torque or machining variations. The SQFBCNN model features physical and functional interchangeability among all three-port sequence cartridges within the same frame size, offering ease of replacement and integration. With a capacity of 30 gpm (120 L/min), this valve operates efficiently under high-pressure conditions, with factory pressure settings established at the kickdown point.
