This valve remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 exceeds that at port 2 and will reset only when the pressure at port 1 falls below its setting, with no flow from port 1 to port 2, and when the pressure at port 2 is equal to or greater than that at port 1. Notably, these valves are physically and functionally interchangeable with other three-port sequence cartridges of a similar frame size but are not recommended for load-holding applications.
