The Sun Hydraulics SQFBFBV (Material Number: SQFBFBV) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to open completely and maintain an open state once the pressure at inlet port 1 surpasses the valve's preset threshold. This creates an unobstructed flow from port 1 to port 2, with the pressure setting at port 1 being relative to drain port 3. The valve remains open as long as the inlet pressure exceeds that of port 2. To reset, the inlet pressure must fall below the set point, flow must stop between ports 1 and 2, and pressure at port 2 must match or exceed that of port 1. This model is not suitable for load-holding applications and features a main stage orifice protected by a stainless steel screen with a filtration capacity of 150 microns. It is compatible across all three-port sequence cartridges in terms of flow path and cavity size for its frame size. The SQFBFBV should be used on the actuator side of hydraulic systems since it requires cessation of flow for resetting; if used on the pump side, pump flow must be halted to reset.
