The Sun Hydraulics SQFBFNN (SQFBFNN) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to provide an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to port 2 once the pressure at the inlet port 1 surpasses the valve setting. This valve remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 exceeds that at port 2, and it resets when conditions reverse, requiring no flow from port 1 to port 2 and equal or greater pressure at port 2 compared to port 1. Notably, this valve is not suitable for load holding applications. It features a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen and can handle pressures up to a maximum of 5000 psi (350 bar). The SQFBFNN incorporates Sun's floating style construction, minimizing internal part binding risks due to installation torque or machining variations. It is intended for actuator-side use in hydraulic systems, with resetting conditions necessitating cessation of flow through the valve or pump flow shutoff if used on the pump side.
