This valve kicks completely open once the inlet port 1 pressure surpasses the preset valve setting, allowing unrestricted flow from port 1 to port 2. The pressure at port 1 is compared against the drain port 3, with the valve remaining open as long as port 1's pressure exceeds that of port 2. To reset, the pressure at port 1 must fall below its setting, and flow from port 1 to port 2 must stop with equal or greater pressure at port 2 compared to port 1. These sequence cartridges are interchangeable across similar frame sizes and maintain consistent flow paths and cavities. This model features a main stage orifice protected by a stainless steel screen of 150 microns. It should not be used in load-holding applications due to its design.
