The Sun Hydraulics SQFBJNN (SQFBJNN) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to provide a reliable solution for controlling hydraulic flow in various applications. This valve automatically kicks completely open and remains open when the pressure at inlet port 1 surpasses the preset threshold, allowing unrestricted flow from port 1 to port 2. The pressure setting at port 1 is relative to drain port 3, and the valve remains open as long as this pressure exceeds that at port 2. To reset the valve, the pressure at port 1 must drop below its set point, flow must stop from port 1 to port 2, and pressure at port 2 must be equal to or greater than that at port 1. This model is part of a series where all three-port sequence cartridges are interchangeable in terms of flow path and cavity for a given frame size. It features a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen and should not be used in load-holding applications. The valve's setting can be adjusted with up to five clockwise turns, with an installation torque range of 45-50 lbf ft (61-68 Nm).
