The Sun Hydraulics SQFBMBN (SQFBMBN) is a highly specialized kickdown sequence valve designed for efficient hydraulic flow control. This valve operates by kicking completely open and maintaining an open state once the inlet port 1 pressure surpasses the preset valve threshold, facilitating an unrestricted flow from port 1 to port 2. The pressure setting at port 1 is influenced by the drain port 3, and the valve stays open as long as the pressure at port 1 exceeds that at port 2. To reset, the pressure at port 1 must drop below its setting, flow from port 1 to port 2 must stop, and pressure at port 2 should be equal to or greater than at port 1. This versatile cartridge is interchangeable with all three-port sequence cartridges of similar frame size, sharing identical flow paths and cavity dimensions. However, it is not recommended for load-holding applications. The SQFBMBN features a main stage orifice protected by a durable 150-micron stainless steel screen and supports a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar).
