The Sun Hydraulics SQFBMCN (SQFBMCN) is a high-performance kickdown sequence valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring precise control over flow paths. This valve kicks completely open and maintains an unrestricted flow from port 1 to port 2 once the inlet pressure at port 1 surpasses the valve's preset threshold. The pressure setting at port 1 is relative to the drain port 3, and the valve remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 exceeds that at port 2. Resetting the valve requires a drop in pressure below its setting, cessation of flow from port 1 to port 2, and equal or greater pressure at port 2 compared to port 1. Physically and functionally interchangeable across all three-port sequence cartridges, this model should not be used in load-holding applications due to its design. It features a main stage orifice safeguarded by a durable 150-micron stainless steel screen, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions. The maximum operating pressure is rated at 5000 psi (350 bar), with a response time typically around 25 milliseconds.
