The Sun Hydraulics SQHBLAV (SQHBLAV) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to provide an unrestricted flow path once the pressure at the inlet port 1 exceeds the valve setting, maintaining an open state as long as the pressure at port 1 surpasses that at port 2. This valve is not suitable for load-holding applications and is intended for use on the actuator side of hydraulic systems. The main stage orifice is safeguarded by a 150-micron stainless steel screen, and pressure at port 3, which influences the valve setting directly at a 1:1 ratio, should not exceed 5000 psi (350 bar). The Sun Hydraulics SQHBLAV features floating style construction to reduce internal binding risks due to installation torque or machining variations. It fits into a T-17A cavity and supports a maximum flow capacity of 60 gpm (240 L/min). The factory pressure settings are established at the kickdown point, with a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar).
