The Sun Hydraulics SQJBKAV (SQJBKAV) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to provide an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to port 2 once the pressure at the inlet port 1 exceeds the valve setting. This valve is particularly effective in applications where it is essential to maintain an open flow path as long as the pressure at port 1 remains higher than at port 2. It automatically resets when the pressure at port 1 drops below its setting, and flow from port 1 to port 2 ceases, with pressure at port 2 equal to or greater than that at port 1. The SQJBKAV is physically and functionally interchangeable with all three-port sequence cartridges of a given frame size, ensuring versatility across various systems. This model should not be used in load-holding applications due to its design characteristics. Equipped with a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen, this valve can handle pressures up to a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar).
