The Sun Hydraulics SXCACDV (SXCACDV) is a direct-acting sequence valve designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the pressure at inlet port 1 exceeds the valve's setting. It controls the pressure at port 1 in relation to the drain port 3, with all three-port sequence cartridges being physically and functionally interchangeable. This zero pilot flow valve requires that port 3 be connected to maintain a pressure reference in the control chamber; if blocked, it may malfunction due to reciprocating seal weepage. The pressure at port 3 adds directly to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio and should not exceed 5000 psi (350 bar).
