The Sun Hydraulics W3R (Material Number: W3R) is a line mount hydraulic manifold, designed with inline and cross pilot body features. It is engineered to accommodate systems requiring efficient fluid distribution and control. This model includes two mounting holes with a diameter of 0.34 inches (8.6 mm) and a depth that allows for through-hole installation, ensuring secure attachment in various configurations. The manifold features one open cavity conforming to the T-11A standard, and its ports are sized at 12 BSPP, facilitating compatibility with common hydraulic fittings. Constructed from 6061-T651 aluminum, the W3R manifold offers excellent corrosion resistance without the need for anodizing, which can compromise fatigue life by initiating cracks under pressure. This material choice provides a balance between strength and cost-effectiveness while maintaining structural integrity in corrosive environments up to a maximum system pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar). The W3R is particularly suited for applications where reliable fluid flow management is critical, making it an ideal component in hydraulic systems that require robust performance without compromising on durability or efficiency.

Notes:
  • Important: Carefully consider the maximum system pressure. The pressure rating of the manifold is dependent on the manifold material, with the port type/size a secondary consideration. Manifolds constructed of aluminum are not rated for pressures higher than 3000 psi (210 bar), regardless of the port type/size specified.
