The Sun Hydraulics XKCAXXN (Material Number: XKCAXXN) is a cavity plug designed to block all ports in hydraulic systems. This product is specifically engineered with EPDM seals, making it suitable for use in systems utilizing phosphate ester fluids, while exposure to petroleum-based fluids, greases, and lubricants can result in seal damage. The corrosion-resistant design of this cavity plug, identified by the model code suffix AP, makes it ideal for use in corrosive environments. The body is constructed from high-strength lean duplex stainless steel, whereas the internal components are made from carbon steel leaded alloy, similar to standard plugs. This cavity plug features a T-18A series configuration with two ports and can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi or 350 bar. The installation requires a valve hex size of 1 5/8 inches (41.3 mm) and should be torqued between 350 to 375 lbf ft (474 to 508 Nm).
