The Sun Hydraulics ZDS (Material Number: ZDS) is a line mount manifold designed for hydraulic systems, featuring a 0.75 SAE C62 interface. This model is engineered for direct mounting applications and includes one open cavity with the T-2A cavity type. It accommodates port sizes of 3/4 Code 62, making it compatible with high flow valves. The ZDS is constructed from 6061T651 aluminum, known for its strength, affordability, and excellent corrosion resistance. It is important to note that this manifold is not anodized, as Sun Hydraulics has determined that the natural corrosion resistance of 6061T651 aluminum suffices for standard applications without the need for anodizing. Additionally, anodizing can negatively impact fatigue life by initiating cracks under pressure, thereby reducing durability by up to 50%. This product is suitable for systems where maximum pressures do not exceed 3000 psi (210 bar), as aluminum manifolds are not rated beyond this threshold regardless of port size or type. The ZDS provides a reliable solution for integrating Sun cartridge valves into hydraulic circuits efficiently while maintaining system integrity under specified conditions.

Notes:
  • Important: Carefully consider the maximum system pressure. The pressure rating of the manifold is dependent on the manifold material, with the port type/size a secondary consideration. Manifolds constructed of aluminum are not rated for pressures higher than 3000 psi (210 bar), regardless of the port type/size specified.
